Action Jackson - Jacques Henri Lartigue

There are few photographer's whose pictures are just simply more fun to look at than Jacques Henri Lartigue. Considered a true child prodigy and born into a wealthy, French family in 1894 his work conjures up the best romantic and fictionalized notions of what living in this particular world might have been like. The sun is always shining and everyone is at play and in motion with, what at the time, surely must have been the best toys imaginable. Cest Bon!

Glad you asked me to check this out, Evan. Lartigue started playing around with photography in 1900, when he was only 6, and look what he managed to do in his lifetime, without all the digital bells and whistles we have now. I'm hoping that some day we'll get to see all the photos that Malia Obama has been taking. What a personal record of an amazing point in history they'll be!
