A Day In The Country.

There is no place I would rather be in the summer than in the country. Any countryside. Anywhere. But in the winter there is no place to me that feels bleaker. It's as if the country is a giant sponge and it just soaks up and holds all the melancholy that is winter. Cities and towns some how feel more neutral. They are large and dense with big personalities and the weather carries less influence.

You summed that up nicely. It does get pretty bleak out in the middle of nowhere in Winter!
